An easy hike in the Polhov Gradec Hills of Slovenia visiting the church of Saint James. End quote.

Green hills, lush forest, and a church beautifully perched on top of a hill. All of this not far from Ljubljana and easy enough for even the youngest hikers. This checked all our boxes so we set off for this hike on a Saturday morning. The weather was great, the views beautiful, and my 4 year old son had a great time.

Free roadside parking is available in a few places along the road between Sora and Trnovec. The gravel path across the road is the starting point of this hike to the Church of Saint James.
