Mače Alpine Loop Hike Route

Hike in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Slovenia, visiting Bašeljski vrh, Mali Grintovec and Srednji vrh.

This Alpine Loop hike features a stretch on the mountain ridge between Bašeljski vrh and Srednji vrh, visiting Mali Grintovec along the way. With the Alpine hut ‘Planinski dom na Kališču’ at one-third of the route and the Alpine hut ‘Zavetišče v Hudičevem borštu’ at two-thirds, you’ll find two natural pause points to rest your legs, enjoy a snack, or exchange a few words with fellow hikers.
